LES HALLES D'AOSTE - lo martchà valdotèn -.
A multifunctional integrated centre, modern and efficient, created after the conversion of the former Autoporto of Pollein-Brissogne and after the rationalization of interior spaces.
The numbers that characterize it are self-explanatory. In 2010 the visitors - those who have visited at least one of the 50 businesses in the structure – have been more than one million.
LES HALLES D'AOSTE - lo martchà valdotèn - is today a commercial and services reality, strategic and attractive in fast evolution that will soon be able to achieve its full potential.
The main factors, at the basis of the success and development of the entire area, are its strategic position, internal and external integrated communication system, the availability of 2,000 parking spaces and the new organization of internal pedestrian flows, driven by rational and innovative signs.
The area is also characterized by a great attention for the environment friendly management with a large use of renewable energy.
The large areas of the roofs of buildings “Direzionale" and "Serpentone" have become a platform hosting an experimental plant of 6 different photovoltaic plants, 4 of which are using the Thin Film Technology.
In the area it is operating a small experimental wind plant wind vertical and horizontal turbines and it is used also a kind of lighting them with LED lights, both in the covered car park of 10,000sqm and in the shopping Gallery. The area is served by a district heating system powered by bio masses and will soon be realized a cooling system using geothermal energy. These targeted investments allow the area to be more competitive in terms of management costs and to improve its image making of it a unique space of its kind, able to create a strong appeal both for users and for companies operating or wishing to settle. They have been also planned or are under implementation a series of works, including the creation of a new closed gallery, which will further increase the availability of space, the synergy between operating activities and the increase of their visibility.
